Traditional meets improvisational jazz
EHBAM was formed at Babel Sound 2022 by Monika Kabasele, with 3 other talented musicians coming from different countries. They are interpreting traditional songs with the improvisative freedom of jazz.
Monika Kabasele is a young and talented Greek and Congolese singer and composer, currently studying jazz singing at the conservatory of Paris, while performing with her own projects or participating as a singer in diverse jazz and world music projects in France and Greece.
She recorded her first album in December 2022 in the title of “Monika Kabasele / Grecofuturisme” which was released in 2023. Her various collaborations and initiatives have led her to sing in important world music stages and festivals around Europe.
